Snapchat introduces a new feature Shortcut. Snapchat Shortcut feature allows users to create a list of recipients instead to create a group. For example, you can create a shortcut for your family members, colleagues, etc. This means the Snapchat Shortcut feature is best to send snaps to a particular group of people.
Let’s get started!
Create a Shortcut Step by Step Guide
First of all, you’ll be required to take a snap and click on the blue color send button at the right bottom.
After that, you’ll be required to click on the “Send To” search bar at the top as shown in the below image.
After that, a button termed “Create Shortcut” will appear just under the search bar.
Click on the grey “Create Shortcut” button.
When you’ve clicked on the “Create Shortcut” button, you’ll a new screen will open. The app will show a quick explanation to the users about this shortcut feature.
Use shortcuts to quickly select Friends and Groups. Choose a single emoji for each Shortcut. Shortcuts are private to just you.
After you have Selected “Okay”, then you’ll need to select the friends, family members, or groups that you are willing to add to the new shortcut.
When you’ve chosen one or more of your friends, you will have to click on “Choose Emoji” at the top of the screen.
At this stage, it is pertinent to mention here that Snapchat shortcuts must be labeled with an emoji. Like other social media groups, you can’t use text, numbers, or enter a regular name for it. Thus, you will require to select an emoji that makes sense.
If you choose a random emoji, you may confuse if more than one shortcut group was created.
Newly created shortcuts always appear at the top of your Send To list. Moreover, when you will click on the emoji Shortcut, Snapchat will select all the recipients already added to the Shortcut.
